Rachelle Lynn, that’s my first and middle name. Busy… that’s you! We get it, as a husband and wife team who recently had a daughter, we now really know what it means to be busy, and how you just want things done.
We offer relaxed shoots with quick turn around times and packages for every budget.
Shooting together we compliment each other with our strengths, different lens choices and different personality types that work well together for any shoot.
About Rachelle Lynn
I graduated from Western Academy of Professional Photography in 2008 and now have 13 years experience.
I love the outdoors and I love my family. I live to kayak the waters around Vancouver Island exploring sandy beaches at marine parks and backpacking parks such as Strathcona and Cape Scott.
My daughter is my favorite subject to photograph and my husband is my favorite person to work with.
We live a balanced life with work and play and we only take on the number of jobs that we can complete on time with the best quality of work and that provides the best work life balance.
Questions & Answers
What is it like to work with you?
I am patient, organized, and professional.
Poses and possible places and props within the location are planned before the shoot however there is always spontaneity and client input. Some people like to plan their own shoots while some prefer not to think anpuit it at all. I like to give people fun things to do that will give me some organic shots as well as the classic poses.
My aim is to make people feel comfortable, have fun, and get great shots.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot with a D750 full frame Nikon camera with pro 1.4, 2.8, and 4 lenses.
I have off camera flashes and studio lighting if necessary.
When and how do I get my photos?
Same day or next day for real estate, 1 week for portraits, and 1 month for weddings.

There is a client portal on my website that will take you to your own passworded gallery.
I always deliver full resolution photos and they can be downloaded to your computer with the click of a button.

What types of photography do you shoot?
For clients I shoot architecture, real estate, families, children, engagement, weddings, parties, headshots, boudoir, newborn, and product.
On my time I also love to shoot night, landscape, nature, and macro photography.
What is your favorite subject to photograph?
Children and real estate!
Children are so much fun and you never know what to expect but I’m usually running around and getting my work out for the day.
Real estate is the exact opposite. I am using a tripod or monopod and know exactly what shots are needed for the listing. I graduated Western Academy of Professional Photography with a full portfolio in architecture.
Both types of photography make my heart sing 🙂
About Derrick
Derrick is an enthusiastic, positive force of energy with spontaneous creative ideas during a shoot.
Sometimes a second shooter and sometimes an assistant, his passion is contagious, energizing, and inspiring to work with.
He is great at communicating with clients and helping them have a good time during the shoot.
When he’s not taking pictures you can find Derrick cooking five star meals, building a gazebo, out on the water, or meandering through the forest.
